Yoga is so much more than the shapes we make with our body, it is a state of being not a shape of body. And this state of being is open and available to all. It is simple, subtle yet completely life changing
Yoga serves the unlearning of what we have been taught and the realisation of "what is". Cultivating awareness and realising the deep peace that resides in us all, beyond the noise of the mind and everyday life. It is a series of different practices that prepare the body and mind for meditation
The main purpose of Yoga is "Self Realisation" and we can practice Yoga without ever doing a down dog or sun salutation
Yoga reminds us that we are beyond thoughts, beliefs, ideas, concepts and opinions and there we have the opportunity to realise our truest nature - Effortless Awareness

Leanne teaches Yoga and works in her local Mental Health Service. She is also a member of "The Dandelions" an innovative group of individuals that share a community space with Company Drinks CIC, offering wellbeing activities and events to local residents
